He is a good coach, he knows a lot about the game and as a defender he taught me things from a defenders' perspective, things they don't like and that was a big help to my development as a young striker."

Leon Barnett (West Bromwich Albion): "Marvin has been there and done it so when I was at Luton it was great to have someone as my youth team manager who could show me how to do things. He is the easiest, most laid back coach I have worked with and because he was a centre half as a player, it was good for me to listen and learn from him."
